Michael 'Mike' Gandal

We are performing RNA-sequencing on brain samples from subjects with ASD across 10 different cortical brain regions to characterize alterations in cortical patterning. In addition, we are comparing large-scale gene expression profiling results in ASD with several other neurodevelopmental, psychiatric disorders to identify pathways of molecular convergence and specificity across disorders.
