Kun Gao

Kun is a senior technician who works primarily on bulk or single cell / nuclei transcriptome analysis, helping with generating graphs, reports and presenting results to collaborators. Kun also explores newly developed analytic methodologies and techniques, adopt and apply them on the relevant data analysis; train and support new team members for existing pipelines and HPC clusters; create and maintain relational databases for the accumulated single cell sequencing data, develop and maintain web interface for the database services using Python; manage lab owned sequencer data generation, process, transfer and backup. She also works on our mouse model of Friedreich Ataxia.
