Kohei Shimono

Kohei is a visiting researcher who is interested in understanding the pathophysiological mechanisms and developing treatments for neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). At the Geschwind Lab, he aims to identify treatable molecular mechanisms through analyses of postmortem brain samples, hiPSC-derived neurons and organoid samples.
