Research Focus

Jennifer is a human genetics Ph.D. student who is performing large-scale multi-omic studies in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy to refine our understanding of disease mechanisms. This includes single-nucleus ATAC-seq and RNA-seq and bulk RNAseq in a well-characterized cohort of patients, all of whom have WGS. By combining WGS and transcriptomics, she hopes to increase power to identify causal genes using Bayesian approaches.
