Research Focus
Huan is a post-doctoral fellow interested in studying the genetic mechanisms underlying neural repair and neurobiological diseases. In the Geschwind lab , her research investigates both intrinsic and extrinsic genetic mechanisms that contribute to axon regeneration following injury. Through the utilization of cutting-edge computational analysis, wet lab techniques and animal models, Huan is dedicated to unraveling the spatiotemporal communications between neurons and glia cells in the process of axon regrowth. Additionally, she aims to gain insights into the genomic landscape underlying autonomous axon regeneration in adult mammals.
