Research Focus
Arielle is a graduate student in neuroscience using genomic methods to comprehensively investigate mechanisms of peripheral nervous system growth after injury, to inform understanding of why the CNS does not effectively regenerate. Specifically, I am comparing the differences in mRNA splicing programs launched in response to injury between the PNS and CNS, which will provide new insights into understanding how to promote CNS and therapeutic development,
