The A.P. Giannini Foundation’s Fellowship and Leadership Award supports innovative research in the basic sciences and applied fields and trains fellows to become established investigators and to pursue scientific leadership positions in academia, industry, public and non-traditional career pathways. Lucy’s research is focused on indentifying how several distinct mutations, which are highly penetrant for ASD, converge on common cellular phenotypes that alter developmental trajectories to result in disrupted adult brain states.
